Wag wag lids
Welcome to the funniest podcast in the game
If you’re already here then you should know who we are, but for the pubes out there who don’t, let us give you a quick rundown.
Hosted by two professional comedians, Adam Rowe and Dan Nightingale, Have A Word started in the spare room of Dan’s house back in 2020 before moving over to sunny Runcorn where our first studio was built and then-new producer, Sensei Carl, joined soon after.
Since then we’ve moved to our own purpose-built podcast studio in Liverpool, and we always have a selection of live podcast or stand-up shows on offer.
We’ve been nominated for and won several major awards, but the most important thing is we have a devoted loyal fan base who tune in every single week, for their dose of nonsense. The level of devotion of our fanbase means despite our lack of mainstream profile, we have THE biggest Patreon membership in the UK.
A few years in and we’ve had some of the UK’s top household names join us on the famous orange sofa, as well as some of the funniest comedians from the USA. Jimmy Carr, Andrew Schulz, Jason Manford, Shane Gillis, Romesh Ranganathan to name a few…
If you’re looking for the funniest podcast in the UK with the biggest community behind it, then look no further.
Climb aboard the bullshit bus… you’ll never want to get off.
MEET THE TEAM

Adam
Adam Rowe is a critically acclaimed, award winning stand-up comedian from Liverpool. He has appeared on various TV shows including Live At The Apollo (BBC1), The Stand-Up Sketch Show (ITV2) and Roast Battle (Comedy Central).
However, his success is predominantly down to both his live work and self-produced online content. He’s had five sell-out nationwide tours and his most recent tour took him internationally with shows across Europe and Australia. He’s released four, full-length stand-up specials; Club Comic (2020), Imperious (2023), Juicy (2023) and What’s Wrong With Me (2024) – with over a million views on YouTube.

A veteran of seven Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, he now tours the UK & Ireland and has two full stand up Specials on YouTube: 2022’s Smasher and 2023’s Dan Nightingale’s Special. He spent much of his career gigging out of Manchester, but now lives in Chester.

Carl
Carl Reigler, AKA Sensei Carl, is the Executive Producer and third mic on Have a Word. He also hosts Mad That, alongside Harry Robinson, and Sensei Carl’s Chaotic Quiz which has taken on cult status for its crazy questions and extravagant prizes.
Carl has worked in the comedy industry for 14 years before the pod, managing two of the biggest comedy clubs in the world. He also lived in Japan, in case he hasn’t mentioned it enough. Even after all this, he still isn’t as popular with the listeners and his own dog, Wallace.

Finn
Finnlay K is the assistant producer and fourth mic on Have A Word. When he’s not podcasting, he fronts his own indie-pop band, creating infectious tunes that have garnered over 450,000 streams on Spotify.
Finnlay has opened for acclaimed artists such as Red Rum Club and Jamie Webster and has sold out multiple headline shows in Liverpool. He’s also recognised for his freakishly long Welsh-Turkish fingers.
